Coffee and Spirituality: A Leader Formation Webinar for Ruling Elders & Deacons

Thursday, October 29, 2026 | 6:00–7:30 p.m. CST

Registration Deadline: October 21

What if we were as intentional about nurturing our spiritual lives as we are about making a good cup of coffee?

In this free PC(USA) Leader Formation webinar, Coffee and Spirituality, participants will use the familiar process of making coffee as a way to explore spiritual practices and intentionality. The conversation will consider how each step can reflect the ways we nurture our own spirituality and how ruling elders and deacons can help nurture the spiritual lives of their communities.

The webinar will be led by Rev. Amos Joel Méndez Gutiérrez, pastor of Juan Calvino Presbyterian Church in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico, and Stated Clerk of the Presbytery of the Northwest.

The event is free and made possible through per capita dollars. Interpretation is available upon request during registration, with a registration deadline of October 21 to allow time for arrangements. An English-language recording will also be available following the event.
