Hello all, Maybe you have heard, maybe you haven’t. But there is a Transformation happening around the world. It has even touched you without you knowing it. You are holding it in your hands as you read this. What could it be? Is it the next new way to ask you for money? Nope. Is it some quirky way to get you to volunteer more of your time? You are not that lucky. Okay, so what this is? This is a letter informing you about a weekend for the youth (6th grade to 12th) in your church community. You may have only one youth that rarely shows up, you might have 3 or 4 that you are struggling with to keep coming to activities. Or you may be have 10 to 12 who are loyal, as the day is long, they show up for everything you do. Even better you might have 30 to 50 youth in your church. What I am saying is that this weekend is for every youth you can think of that needs a weekend with fellow Christians. Our weekend is April 17th, 18th, and 19th. It is being held at Canyon Camp in Hinton, OK. You know what I am talking about. I am talking about Youthquake 2009. We have lined up a wonderful Keynote speaker, Rev. Greg Bunton.We have transformed some elements of Youthquakes from the past. Also, we have added some new twist and turns to our weekend. Canyon Camp will serve all meals, we are asking that churches bring some snacks to share for Friday night and the rest of weekend. So who is this letter from and who is in charge of this extraordinary weekend? Well we will start with who is in charge of this special event.
